Harry Hughes
Hi, I’m Harry – a passionate home cook with a love for bold flavours, good company, and food that brings people together.
Cooking has always been my creative outlet – from slow-roasting over hot coals in the garden, to testing new recipes in the kitchen at home. Whether it’s a laid-back BBQ with friends or a carefully curated dinner for twelve, I love the process of bringing ingredients to life and sharing the results.
My style blends home comforts with vibrant twists – everything from rich one-pot dishes to colourful vegan plates, with plenty of smoky BBQ in between. I'm especially passionate about inclusive cooking, offering gluten-free, vegan, and allergen-conscious dishes without ever compromising on taste.
Alongside cooking for family and friends, I also host occasional private weekends and wellness retreats, where I create bespoke menus tailored to the guests – whether that’s high-protein options, nourishing vegan bowls, or indulgent slow-cooked feasts. Every dish is made with care, and designed to make everyone feel welcome at the table.
On this site, you’ll find some of my favourite recipes, photos of my cooking, and a few of the places I’ve been lucky enough to eat out. It’s a mix of inspiration, flavour, and the occasional bit of fire and smoke from the BBQ.
You’ll usually find me experimenting with new ingredients, serving up food under the stars, or cooking with a cold beer in hand and a Bluetooth speaker on.
